Calls for Protest against Israeli Prawer Plan in Jaffa and Haifa

Gaza,(DRAH.ps)—Palestinian youth groups  Called on protests to be organized in occupied cities of Haifa and Jaffa on Saturday as a  rejection to the Israeli deportation scheme of  " Prawer ", that aims to confiscate some  800 thousand acres of Palestinian land in the occupied Negev. Some, according to the scheme, Israel will displace 70 thousand Palestinians out of their towns.

The groups stated in a statement that demonstrations will start at1 pm at crossroad of Jaffa, and in the yard of '' the prisoner'' in the German district of Haifa, at 6 pm in the evening.

The groups pointed out that these events come among series of demonstrations in various areas in preparation for the Day of Rage in November 30, 2013 in the Negev, Haifa and Ramallah, which have been called on by the youth movement last week.

They stressed these demonstrations are an escalation of the Palestinian struggle to thwart the Israeli deportation Plan, which confiscates 800 thousand acres of Arab land in the Negev, destroys 35 villages unrecognized by Israel.
