A press release by the Popular Committees for Refugees (PCR)
On the 72nd anniversary of Nakba Day (Catastrophe)
(Return is a right and a will of a people)
Oh, our people entrenching on the gates of return!
The 72nd anniversary of Nakba Day 1948, which is a tragic turning point that negatively affected the life of the Palestinian people after systematic massacres against them, theft of their land, displacement of hundreds of thousands of them, and confiscation of their wealth and properties, the Palestinian people are still entrenched in their homeland fighting for their right with great determination despite the harsh and complicated circumstances they are going through along with the Arab world and Islamic nations.
The Nakba Day will remain a witness on the greatest ongoing humanitarian tragedy in history, when the occupation expelled thousands of Palestinians and massacred thousands others. The Palestinian people are making this anniversary with peaceful mass protests, to prove his will and determination to pay the price of liberation and return to every inch of his homeland, in Gaza, the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the 1948 occupied territories.
Armed with the collective consciousness and high spirit on the path of assuring his rights, the masses of Palestinian people made it clear that rights are not abolished by the passage of time, so they will not waive their claim to their homeland or their right to return to their lands, no matter how much sacrifices they have made and how many generations have come.
The Palestinian people will stick firmly to their right of return to their homeland from the river to the sea sooner or later.
Oh, our people, the salt of the earth and the hope of the nation:
In light of the American-Zionist attack aimed at Judaizing and annexing more Palestinian lands, as well as the serious challenges facing the Palestinian cause, the Popular Committees for Refugees (PCR), affirms the following:
First / Palestine, from river to the sea, is our right as a Palestinian people, no compromise, no negligence, and no retreat. Our return to Palestine is a right that does not lapse by statute of limitations, and our right to resistance is protected under all religions and laws.

Third: The Popular Committees for Refugees reiterates its blanket rejection to all plans aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause or abolishing the Palestinian rights, above all the “Deal of the Century”.
Fourth: We highlight the Palestinian people’s right to resist the occupation with all means possible, in a manner that preserves the Palestinian interests, defend the Palestinian people and his homeland.
Fifth: The Popular Committees for Refugees reaffirms its absolute rejection to all forms of political, cultural, sports, commercial normalization with the Israeli occupation and considers it a stab in the back of the Palestinian people and a violation of their rights that encourages the Israeli occupation to commit more crimes and violations against them and their holy sites. We call upon our people to remain committed to the holy land as the first direction of Muslims, until the liberation and freedom is fully restored.
Glory and eternity to the martyrs of Palestine!
Freedom for prisoners!
Recovery for the wounded!
And it is a revolution until liberation and return!
