Palestinians gearing up for anti-occupation protests at Gaza border

Gaza,(DRAH.ps)-- The Higher National Commission of the March of Return and Breaking the Siege has called on the Palestinian masses to take part in the large-scale protests set to be staged on Friday along Gaza’s borderlands.

The Higher Commission said in a statement that the peaceful protests make part of Palestinians’ struggle to liberate their land, lift the siege on Gaza, and thwart the US-drafted deal of the century.

The commission stressed the need to take all necessary measures to protect the non-violent protesters and defend them against projected aggressions by Israeli snipers stationed along the Gaza border.

Thousands of Palestinians have taken to the Gaza border since March 30 to push for lifting the crippling Israeli siege and speak up for the refugees’ right of return to their homeland.

At least 235 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed since March 30, mostly by Israeli fire during border clashes but also by air and tank attacks.
