Gaza, (Alresalah.ps) -- The Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs Ismail Radwan stated Wednesday that the Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati would visit the Gaza Strip and meet Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh soon, without setting a date for the visit.
Radwan said in remarks to local Palestine newspaper on Wednesday, "I've invited the Lebanese prime minister to visit the Gaza Strip, and he responded that he would visit Gaza and meet Prime Minister Haniyeh. Yet, he did not specify a date for the visits.
He added that the invitation took place in the meeting between Radwan and Mikati recently in Radwan's visit to Lebanon o inspect the situation of Palestinian refugees evacuated from Syria because of the conflict there.
According to Radwan, Mikati promised to form a work crew from the Lebanese authorities to study the situation of Palestinian refugees who evacuated from Syria, and solve their problems and suffering as well as positively consider the humanitarian situation of the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.
Radwan added, "Mikati expressed his understanding of the demands of the Palestinians to get a decent life and pressure on the UNRWA to do its part towards them."
